(1) Cystoscopy

Sheaths and obturators

Special sheaths are used for cystoscopy, i.e., examination of the lower urinary passages. Sheaths, obturators and visual obturators in various sizes from 17 mm to 25 mm are available. The cystoscopy sheaths are fitted with two fixed stopcocks.

Telescope bridges

Telescope bridges are used with cystoscopy sheaths in order to adapt the length for telescopes and enable use of instruments.

The TROKAMED range offers telescope bridges either without or with one or two working channels.

Optical forceps

Biopsy and grasping forceps as well as scissors for sheaths from 20 to 25 Fr. are available.

(2) Resectosopy

ELECTRODES

Traditionally, monopolar electrodes are used for working elements. Modern monopolar HF surgical interventions are subject to constant monitoring through modern technology. The HF used enables the tissue to be removed to be cut precisely and quickly.

The electrodes come in various shapes and sizes. For connection to the HF devices, cables for the different manufacturers are available.

(3) Cohen-Probes

The Cohen probes serve to position the uterus and contrast media can be introduced.

The Cohen probe adapter optimally seals the cervix.

(4) Uterus manipulatoren

Just like the Cohen probe, the function of uterus manipulator is to fixate and examine the during surgery.

The adapter lock mechanism enables the quick and simple use of various adapters. 6 different attachments are included in the standard range.

(5) Surgical and continuous rinsing sheaths

As a rule, surgical and continuous rinsing sheaths comprise two sheath systems; the working element and the outer continuous rinsing sheath. The special design of the system enables a correspondingly large working channel and optimal rinsing.

In addition to the sheaths which are designed for 2.7 mm and 2.9 mm telescopes, classic systems for 4 mm telescopes are also available.

(6) Myom drills

The myoma drill is one of the most classic instruments for gynaecological sugeries.

The standard myoma drill is available in diameters of 5 and 10
